Northeast Florida sits on a high water table and takes intense, short-duration rain. On a flat lot with a compacted layer under the sod, water has nowhere to go. It stands, it kills roots, and it moves toward the house.
What is included
Standing water is a symptom. We trace it to the cause — usually grade, compaction, or a roof discharging into a low corner — before we cut a trench. Installing a drain into the wrong low point relocates the problem instead of solving it.
